What Data do I hold on you?

During an initial meeting and before the first trial walk, I will collect the following data and information:

I will ask you to sign and date the data and information that has been collected. This is put into records on a laptop and a paper copy is laminated and stored at my home. Emergency telephone numbers are stored on my mobile phone for your dog’s safety. The mobile phone and laptop are secure and password protected.

Any interaction that you make with me through correspondence by phone is secure and password protected. Comments on my posts are secure and password protected on any of my personal devices, but are obviously accessible to any member of the general public who chooses to view the post (open to the public).

Why do I collect and use personal data?

I collect and use personal data solely to perform my customer service to you. I do not share any of this information.

How long do I keep your personal data?

I store personal data for as long as I find it necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the personal data was collected and to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws. This means that I may retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time after your last interaction with me (for example, for the Inland Revenue). When the personal data that I have collected is no longer required for legal purposes, I will delete it in a secure manner.

Your rights to your personal data

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data: 1. The right to request a copy of your personal data that I hold about you. 2. The right to request that I correct your personal data if inaccurate or out of date.

Any query about your Privacy Rights should be made in person or writing. If you are unhappy with the way in which your personal data has been processed, you may contact me in person or writing. Finally, I do not share any information I have on you to anyone and I don’t ever send you marketing.
