Early every afternoon, I collect dogs from their homes and travel to
the start of our off-road adventure. Walks are long, active and pacey
- across fells and open countryside - with endless space for running,
sniffing, playing and chasing.
The clock starts once we are all off-road and every hike is 5-10km
long, lasting for 1-2 hours! Each trek is GPS tracked and sent to your
smart phone, along with a photographic record of our adventure.
Terrible weather doesn’t deter me…I am at my happiest when I am
outdoors with my furry friends, whatever the conditions! After the
fun, I return every dog to it's home. I thoroughly towel dry each one
and settle it down - warm, cuddly, quiet and snuggly - ready for your
return.
Behaviour, Agility and Tricks Training

ENJOY SEEING YOUR DOG HAVING FUN LEARNING COMMANDS, TRICKS AND
AGILITY.
Dogs are so happy when they are training; they use their brains and
they love to please...it's tiring for them too! I offer advice on the
use of my agility kit, which you can then take home for 7 days. I can
teach you how to train for any of the tricks in my
video and help you understand the
psychology behind reward-based clicker training...it really works! The
kit contains a 5m tunnel, 3 jumps, 12 weave poles, a hoop and a small
sea saw. The automatic ball thrower is included!
Are you struggling with some aspects of your dog’s behaviour? Maybe he
is lunging and reacting to cars and other dogs? Perhaps you feel
unable to let her off the lead because you are worried that she will
run off? I can help you with that!
After a free consultation, I design you a tailor-made lesson with
personalised flash cards that will remind you how you can work with
your dog to achieve a calmer, happier and more responsive
relationship. All my training is reward-based and uses games as a
motivator. I can show you how to train in a strong response to a game
that your dog will want to play in preference to performing an
undesired behaviour. Of course, the lesson will include a clicker
training demonstration so that the fun can continue throughout your
dog’s life!

WATCH A MAGICAL BOND DEVELOP BETWEEN YOUR CHILD AND THEIR FRIEND.
Children can learn patience and responsibility by helping out and
being relied upon by a living creature. We all know that a cuddle with
a dog is good for the soul and having four paws in the mix can make
family walks very appealing to children.
Clicker training is a highly motivating, super-fun, reward-based
training method for animals, (if it’s good enough for Lassie, it’s
good enough for me!) My Clicker Kids sessions are run for YOUR kids in
YOUR home and garden, (after all, that is where their training
sessions happen). I teach kids the basic requirements of responsible
dog ownership using a sensory bag. My quizzes and challenges improve
their general knowledge about dogs and I show them how to clicker
train for commands and tricks, (watch my video for the sorts of
tricks that any dog can learn). Children will receive a clicker (one
per family) and a sachet of dog treats.
My lessons have been carefully planned for maximum effect; I am a
qualified primary school teacher and am CRB checked.
